Sofa and Lounge Warranty Information
Below you will find details on the Mr Furniture Warranty. Please note that these warranties do not apply for furniture used for commercial, rental trade, institutional or other non-residential use.
All faults should be reported to Mr Furniture within (7) seven days of the defect or fault appearing to avoid any further damage. Please keep your Mr Furniture original invoice docket as proof of date of purchase and present it to Mr Furniture at the time of making a warranty claim. This warranty is in addition to the rights granted by relevant State and Federal laws, and in particular The Trade Practices Act 1974 and corresponding State Fair Trading Legislation.
For (1) one year from the purchase date Mr Furniture warrants to rectify, repair or replace any defects in stitching, zippers, padding or comfort foams. (Workmanship, Fabric, Leather & Foam seating)
For (2) two years from the purchase date Mr Furniture warrants to rectify ,repair or replace any defects in the Frame,& recliner mechanism. (Frame, recliner mechanisms)
For (2) two years from the purchase date Mr Furniture warrants to rectify ,repair or replace any defects to any electrical motors in all fabric and leather chairs and suites. (Electric lift & Electric recliner)
Note: Mr Furniture will always endeavour to help rectify and fix any problem that occur to any product you purchase through Mr Furniture regardless of time frame (Charge may apply to help cover cartage, cost of repair charges ect..)
The Warranty does not cover the following problems:
- Rips, wearing, pilling, creasing or fading of fabric or leather.
- Damage caused by natural wear and tear.
- Damage caused by misuse.
- Damage caused by improper cleaning.
- Damage caused by improper use of the goods purchased. (E.G People sitting on lounge arms etc.)
- Softening of seat cushions over time is completely normal and is not considered a defect in any way. Sitting on one particular seat most of the time will cause that seat to soften more than the others. For an even wear alternate your choice of seat regularly.
- Damage incurred during handling and transportation of the product by the customer or their contractor.
- Discolouration of fabric and leather suites due to exposure to direct sunlight, direct heat or contact with domesticated animals.
- Warranty is limited to the original purchaser at the original delivery address.
Note: Due to strict O.H & S laws, Lounges and sofas that require warranty repairs must be clean and fit for handling by the service staff. Customers must have the item professionally cleaned if soiled or unfit for handling before returning to store.
HOW TO CLAIM:
- A copy of your invoice and receipt need to found. This is needed as proof of purchase and as easy reference to the Mr Furniture service department. If no proof of purchase can be produced, Mr Furniture may be unable to process the claim.
- Contact the store where the purchase was made. All details of store location and contact numbers can be found at www.mrfurniture.com.au. All details including your invoice number, date of purchase & details of the problem you are having with the product must then be given to the staff member who will then forward these details onto our service department. The service department will then contact you usually within 24 - 48 hours to find a solution to your problem.

Mattress and Base Warranty Information
All mattresses are covered under a manufactures guarantee which is normally detailed on your invoice or on the purchase product mattress label. (E.G 1, 5 or 10 year).
In addition to your manufactures guarantee and Australia consumer law all our product come with the following warranty.

For (1) one year from the purchase date Mr Furniture warrants to rectify, repair or replace any defects in the ensemble base timber frames and support castors. (Workmanship, fame and castors)
Note: Mr Furniture will always endeavour to help rectify and fix any problem that occur to any product you purchase through Mr Furniture regardless of time frame (Charge may apply to help cover cartage ,cost of repair charges ect..)
The Warranty does not cover the following problems

- Damage caused by unsuitable beds & bases.
- Damage caused by improper use of the goods purchased. (E.G People sitting on mattresses playing console computer games, children jumping on mattresses etc.)
- Softening of the mattresses comfort layers over time is completely normal and is not considered a defect in any way. Lying on one particular side of the mattress most of the time will cause that area to soften more than the others. For an even wear rotate and flip all double sided mattresses regularly and rotate all single sided mattresses regularly.
- Damage incurred during handling and transportation of the product by the customer or their contractor.
- Discolouration of fabric and leather suites due to exposure to direct sunlight, direct heat or contact with domesticated animals.
- Warranty is limited to the original purchaser at the original delivery address.
Note: Due to strict O.H & S laws, all mattresses that require warranty repairs must be clean and fit for handling by the service staff. Customers must have the item professionally cleaned if soiled or unfit for handling before returning it to the store.
**Due to strict public liability laws we are unable to supply a lone mattress for the customer to use while their mattress is being repaired or replaced.

- Damage caused by improper use of the goods purchased. (E.G People leaning back on chairs etc.)
- Damage incurred during handling and transportation of the product by the customer or their contractor.
